FAQ's

How are prices calculated?

They skips are priced by their size and their contents. The only other cost to consider is if a permit is required to place the skip on a public road. This is issued by the council, in some cases we can apply for the permit on your behalf but some councils require you to do it directly. Please give us a call or fill out the quick quote section to check prices.

What happens to the contents of the skip?

We endeavour to recycle as much of the materials as we can. We sort the waste into their constituents elements, predominantly these are soil, hardcore materials, metal, plastic, glass and wood. We are then able to supply much of these materials to construction industry so there is no little or no waste.

What size skip would best suit my needs?

If you check our services page you can see an illustration of the sizes. The most commonly used household skip is a 6yrd but if you are still unsure please give us a call and we can clarify.

Can I put anything in the skip?

We accept most waste but we are unable to take waste electronics such as fridge/freezers, TVs, microwaves, chemicals, clinical waste, tyres, asbestos and gas bottles. This is to ensure we satisfy environmental legislation.

How much can I fill the skip?

You can fill the skip with a level load only. This ensures that skip can be safely removed without any of the contents spilling.

How long can I have the skip for?

We aim to be flexible depending on your needs you can keep the skip for a week or more if you let us know. The price is for the volume not the length of time you have the skip.

What if there is no option to drop the skip?

We offer a wait and load service where the driver will lower the skip and wait whilst you load the skip. Please give us a call for more information.

New Trommel System

Manns Waste has recently installed a trommel system to feed waste into. The screened cylinder separates out various materials according to size and then these items go onto a conveyor belt to the picking station where operatives separate out more component parts such as plastic and cardboard.

To aid this process, there is a magnet and a fan positioned on the end of the trommel to extract ferrous metal and blow lighter weighted rubbish, such as paper. The machine rapidly increases the speed and efficiency of our waste sorting process.

Rubbish disposal London 2

Disposing of waste might cause problems for many individuals. People who live in urban areas tend to have a lot more problems as dumping space is restricted and bonfires are banned. Should you have a substantial amount rubbish to remove, perhaps from a garden or house renovation, a good idea would be to hire a skip as you can fill this with your waste and it will be collected all in one go, saving endless trips to the local dump. However if you live in a central urban area perhaps in London, hiring a skip can be problematic if you do not have adequate space to put it. This dilemma can be easily rectified by a waste managementcompany just like Manns waste management ltd which offers a wait and load service. which means that a lorry will arrive at your premises, lower the skip and wait as you load your rubbish into it, after which it will take it away there and then.

Other than rubbishremoval from private residences, London carries a significant amount of venues, businesses and institutions which each build up a vast volume of waste. From schools to restaurants, and parks to galleries, and many more, each of these places will need to have some way of responsibly disposing of their rubbish.

The best solution to the problem is to use a waste removal company to deal with the job. There are various companies in and around London which manage waste removal, whether or not this involves clearing a lot of rubbish right after a public event, or getting rid of a comparatively low amount of waste from a private property. Between these companies is Manns Waste Management ltd, who focus on coping with both small and large jobs within an environmentally friendly manner. Manns Waste Management Ltd can offer a skip hire service and stock skips of all sizes beginning with a basic 4 yard skip to a huge industrial 40 yard skip. In addition they provide a rubbish removal service and are very experienced and confident in clearing huge areas in a short space of time. They work to be sure that nearly all of rubbish is recycled, and all of their vehicles have very low emissions.

A fantastic wasteremoval company sees that in a very lively city, certain problems should be handled very efficiently. Due to this, they provide a same day service and refuse workers work to clear a location in the fastest time feasible.
